Vicki Knight

Chief Compliance Officer

Vicki Knight is a native of Rome, Georgia, where she began her banking career in 1973. Knight has served in key leadership roles, including Compliance Officer Retail Lending Manager, Human Resources Director and Chief Risk Officer. She continues to serve as the Bank’s Chief Compliance Officer, Bank Secrecy Act Officer and Community Reinvestment Act Officer, respectively.

Knight earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Shorter College and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Compliance School.

Knight serves the community with a wide breadth of involvement, including service as past Chairperson and an active member of the Board of Directors of The Open Door Children’s Home since 2010. Presently, she serves as Treasurer and on the Board of Trustees of Morrison’s Campground. She is a past board member of the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce, served as Chapter Chairman of the American Red Cross from 2001 – 2003, Mentor and board member of the Communities in Schools from 2000 – 2001 and served on the Board of Trustees of the United Way of Rome & Floyd County from 1990 – 1996. Knight is a recipient of the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce’s 1994 Woman of Excellence and Wesley Johnson Award for Community Service.
