Chatsworth, Ga., October 28, 2025 – First National Community Bank (FNCB), a wholly owned subsidiary of First Chatsworth Bankshares, Inc., is pleased to announce the promotion of Sam Branch to Assistant Vice President & Branch Manager of the Bank’s Downtown Rome, Broad Street Office.
With almost a decade of experience in the banking industry, Sam brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to customer service and community involvement. He first joined First National Community Bank in November 2022 as a Deposit Operations Specialist at the Broad Street location before being promoted to Branch Manager earlier this year. In his new role as Assistant Vice President & Branch Manager, Sam will continue to oversee day-to-day operations, lead his team in providing exceptional service, and develop new business opportunities within the downtown Rome community.

Sam’s banking career began in 2017 as a teller at a regional bank. Over the years, he has held several positions including Universal Banker and Personal Banker, gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of banking such as account management, loan processing, fraud prevention, and back-office operations.
In addition to his professional achievements, Sam is an active community leader. He serves on the Cedartown City Commission, the Cedartown Civic Arts Commission, the Northwest Georgia Regional Commission, and the Board of Directors for Our House Domestic Violence Shelter. He is also a member of the Exchange Club of Cedartown, the radio play-by-play announcer for Cedartown High School Basketball on WGAA, and the Public Address Announcer for Cedartown High School Football.
