Chatsworth, Ga., August 5, 2026 – First National Community Bank (FNCB), the wholly owned subsidiary of First Chatsworth Bankshares, Inc., is proud to support local students, educators, and communities through a variety of back-to-school initiatives and high school athletics sponsorships designed to make a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom.
In preparation for the new school year, First National Community Bank participated in the Helping Hands for Bartow Kids Back-to-School Bash in Cartersville, hosted school supply drives at its Dalton and Dallas branches, and served as a Gold Sponsor of the Bethany Christian Church Back-to-School Supply Drive in Dallas, GA. Additionally, the bank supported a food donation drive to help provide meals for children in need over the summer benefitting CAYA Ministries of Dallas. These efforts helped provide local students and families with essential needs and school supplies as they prepare to return to the classroom.
The bank is also supporting student-athletes and their communities through sponsorships of local high school football programs and broadcasts, including WBHF FM100.3's coverage of Bartow County football, Southeast Football in Dalton, and athletic programs at Adairsville, Calhoun, Gordon Central, and Sonoraville High Schools. In addition, First National Community Bank supported the Cartersville Country Club Ladies Golf Association Charity Invitational Golf Tournament, which provides scholarships for local student golf programs, including Cartersville City and Bartow County middle and high school golf teams.
